Summer Fun

This summer has been so much fun, I can't believe it's almost over already. We had a great vacation to Dale Hollow Lake the first week of July. We went camping at Lillydale and everyone had a really fun time. Kason loved riding in the boat and riding his tractor at the campground. His favorite thing to do though was play at the playground he would go on all the big slides by himself with no help and he loved it. He just kept doing it over and over again, it wore me out trying to keep up with him so he wouldn't fall off. Kason is so smart these days he has been trying to potty train himself, which is so great and he has learned lots of new words. Although he can say almost anything you tell him to, some of his favorites are "Hi Mama, " "tractor," "Uh-Uh" and "Pa." Kason was also in a baby show for the fair where he won 2nd place. We got one big smile from him at the baby show and that was all. My grandparents celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July, 25 and we had a huge anniversary party for them. It was a lot to get ready for but it paid off and was really beautiful and lots of fun. I hope the rest of the summer is as much fun as it has been so far. Hope you enjoy all the cute pictures!

So Much to Share and so Little Time

There has been so much going on since the last time I posted. My classes are finally over for this semester and I am so ready for summer. Work has been very hectic lately and Corey has been busy with hay and tobacco. Kason is also very busy these days, he loves being outside and he always cries when we have to go inside. We went to the lake for the 1st time this year a couple of weekends ago and it was beautiful. We are going back this weekend and I can't wait. Kason had his first haircut last Thursday and he done so good, I was so proud of my little man. He doesn't look like a baby anymore. Kason is always in to something and is never still you have to watch him at all times. He can be so funny too. The summer is getting off to a great start and I can't wait until we can go swimming so Kason can learn how to swim. Easter Fun

Hope everyone had a great Easter, I know we did! I didn't know how well Kason would understand hunting easter eggs, but to my suprise he loved it! Although, he thought they were balls. Every time he found an egg he would say "ball!!" and instead of putting it in his basket he would throw it. The Easter Bunny also brought Kason a big sand bucket filled with all kinds of goodies! As usual, we have been very busy lately. I feel like all I do is go to work & school and that I never have much family time with Corey or Kason, but Kason loves spending time outside, so any chance we get we are outside. Hope everyone has a great Easter! I will post Easter pictures after the Easter Bunny comes to see Kason!

I have some new pictures to share with you. They are all the things Kason loves to do these days, like play with plastic bowls,brush his teeth,look at his books, eat suckers, play in his wagon & play with his cousins. Kason will be 15 months old Tuesday and he is changing so much every day and he has become so independent lately, it makes me so sad beacuse it just seems like yesterday we were coming home from the hospital. He can also be so funny and sweet as you will see in these pictures. Hope you enjoy & have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Kason has found all his books on his bookshelf & he loves to take them down 1 at a time and look at them, if only he would put them all back up!

The wagon that Santa Clause brought him is his new favorite toy. He loves to be pulled around in it but he also loves to just sit in it with all his other toys and play.

He has learned that he can stand on the seat and be really high up and he thinks he is big stuff! Until we make him get down, then he gets mad.

Kason also loves to eat suckers, but it makes a big mess!

Kason and his cousins got to stay with Nana one night and they had so much fun together. It's so sweet how they all play so well together. I can only imagine when they are older what they will get into1
